This marked the continuity of his exploration, but also a radical change: his vocabulary, his grammar, his visual language are now laid directly on canvas without the need for justification. After more than 25 years of experimentation, he reconnects with the essential: the mature base of the child who paints, enriched by the life of an adult. The series Hell can’t be that bad carries this new clarity of expression.
Español — En 2025, Thibaud llegó a Alicante. Por primera vez en años, dispuso de un taller sedentario, una pausa en su movimiento constante. Esto marcó la continuidad de su exploración, pero también un cambio radical: su vocabulario, su gramática, su lenguaje visual ahora se plasman directamente en el lienzo sin necesidad de justificación.
