Bangkokians captures the coexistence of two very different worlds within one city: an affluent upper class that has adopted the globalised, post-industrial aesthetics of the malls and the towers, and the dense, inventive street life of the working classes, a few metres below. The series looks at how the same technology reaches the two worlds differently, and at what the distance between them, in one city, in one frame, says about Bangkok in 2018.
